The Blaha Family
We adopted our son Christopher at the age of 6 months from Azerbaijan in 2004. Christopher was with a foster family and not in an orphanage. He was escorted to the airport here in Albuquerque and was healthy when we received him.
We both felt the greatest joy when we first saw Christopher. He got the biggest smile on his face and reached for his dad. He has become a central part of this family. His cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and great grandparents are all happy to see, and be near him.
Things are going great, He is potty training, he loves to sing and dance, and talks up a storm. This has been one of the greatest experiences in our life. We have already made plans to start another adoption next year.
