Dear A Child Waits Foundation,
Thank you again so much for your generous grant. This provided the last bit of money that we needed to purchase our plane tickets to bring our daughter home from Ethiopia. I'm not sure how we would've been able for both of us to travel without your grant.
We've been home almost two weeks now and our Libby is doing fantastic. The adjustment process so far has been very smooth. We are so thankful to have her home. We learned in Ethiopia that both of her birth parents died of TB and she has also had a positive TB skin test. Her chest xrays have been negative, which is great news. But she will be starting treatment soon to keep from developing TB in the future.
