Romania 2002
I have put this off for a long time. A big reason for not doing this sooner is because our adoption journey from start to now has been filled with "way too much to say".
We adopted our twin girls in 2002 from Romania. Our adoption journey was a "call" to adopt from God. We were led step by step to Annie and Melania. Embracing these two little girls into our home can be summed up as the most difficult "thing" we have ever done and yet the best thing for us all. We have been taken to the depths of what real love is. We also are reminded each day of the incredible scars that children have who have lived in an orphanage. The energy, time and money that have been invested in helping to bring healing to these scars are enormous.
Four years has passed since we brought the girls home. We have made a lot of progress but still press on to be Gods instruments in helping to "heal" these girls' hearts.
Thank you for making it financially possible to adopt not one but two children. We cannot imagine where these girls would be if not rescued.
