Dear Raymona and A Child Waits Foundation,
We just wanted to give you an update on Sid's progress, and to thank you again for the grant that helped to bring him home! Sid has his glasses, and though his corrected vision is technically poor, his adaptive/functional vision is better than we expected, and he gets around just fine! He went from struggling to walk in January to running, jumping, and riding a two wheel bike (with training wheels)! He's not only speaking much better, but singing and playing music whenever he can. He's made tremendous progress in attachment, trying new things, and making friends. He starts his Early Childhood Program next week, and the staff is already in love with him. Sid is genuinely one of the happiest children I've ever known, and we are so thrilled to have him in our lives. Thank you so much for the part you played to bring him to us! We can never thank you enough!
