I want to thank you for your financial assistance in the adoption of my little girls. Without your help it would have been so much more difficult.
My trip to Colombia began February 1, 2009. On February 2nd I was able to meet and become a mother to my little girls. The girls seemed to be well prepared for this major transition in their lives, so our stay in Colombia was fairly smooth with the occasional temper-tantrum. We had the opportunity to do some sight seeing in and around Bogota. Bogota is what I would describe as a "more European type" city. The people in the city were very patient and friendly with us.
We left Bogota, Colombia on February 27th and arrived in Dallas, Texas at midnight. Since arriving home I have been working with the girls on their English skills and preparing them for school. Today they began school and will be in an English as a second language program to further assist with their transition in this country.
