Our family with your help brought an older child come home. Truly because of your kindness Katerina is finally home. We adopted her thru Frank adoption center in Maryland (Lisa Olney).
Katia's orphanage director was very concerned about her she had waited a long time. She thought she was "too big" and no one would want her. She is very tenderhearted and shy and was being bullied at the orphanage by other children. She had no one to turn to and so she never cried when she was hurt or upset.
What a difference, now eight weeks home she is relaxing more and more every day and comes to us when she is hurt and she does cry, something we didn't think she'd do for a long time yet. It seems the weight of the world is off her shoulders now.
Katia and her older sister Melissa (8 years old) are having such a nice summer. They are very compatible. Our friends say a match made in heaven and it really seems so. We are truly blessed to be together and will treasure her always.
