The Renfrow Family
Russia 2004
As a result of a mission trip Dennis took
to Volosolvo, Russia in September of 2003; we've added two more boys to our family,
our adopted, God-given sons. They are Steven Tripp and Drew Aaron, ages 8 &
6. Dennis felt God's leading to adopt them as soon as he returned home from Russia,
actually on the plane ride home. At this time last year we were broken hearted
after being told that the boys were no longer available. As only God can do, he
turned it all around and they're here! It was a long journey and two REALLY hard
trips to Russia, but they're finally part of our family!
The
boys are very excited about being in America and doing great with their English.
A couple of weeks ago Tripp dictated a Christmas card that his sister Mary typed
up for me and here's an excerpt from that card (typed exactly the way he said
it)... "Mama, Merry Christmas! I love you! I love so very much! Excellent
good job! Thank you for eating! Thank you for my bed!" If it doesn't just
say it all, it certainly makes it all worth while.
Mary didn't enjoy our being away while in Russia, but as usual she was a trooper. She somehow manages every storm and keeps a good attitude no matter what. She has welcomed the boys with an open heart and loves the fact that she finally has brothers "to torment. She's doing a great job at being a big sister!
Every time we make our payment, I thank God for your group. You have helped to change many lives, not just two boys. Our family, immediate and extended loves these boys so much. They have managed to be amazingly durable for the last several years now and for the first time in their lives they're being loved and nurture by so many. They are so happy; they skip and hop all the time! Thank you again.

God
bless you,
