Our Joy Boy
We adopted James in March of 2004 at the age of 6 ½, he is now 8 years old. I wanted to let you know what a blessing and pure joy this boy is. We call him our JOY BOY James. He had lived all his life in Ma Anshan orphanage in China in the Anhui Province until he was adopted at 6 ½. He shows us every day how fortunate we are here in America. The first time he saw Walmart you would have thought he was looking at heaven! He kissed the green beans and his socks before he put them in the buggy. I had never been thankful for socks until we saw them through James' eyes. He is so thankful and appreciative of everything because he never had anything of his own until he was adopted.
At the Orphange
He is cleft lip and palate. He has had one surgery,
a hip bone graft to close his palate, immunization shots, 9 teeth pulled, ALOT
of things done to him since we got him and he has never cried when having this
done. He is always happy and has been since the day we got him.

Thank you to A Child Waits Foundation, so much for making it possible for us
to adopt James. Your generous help with the adoption expenses were much needed
and as you can tell from the pictures because of your organization this child
is so happy now. He is such a blessing and a joy to all who meet him.
