Our Story
Wow, I don't really no where to begin!
Our beautiful daughter Mia-Grace Jee-In Warner is sleeping peacefully beside me. What a miracle she is! We began the adoption process in January 2006. My husband and I have both always felt called to adopt and in January God placed it on our hearts that now was the time. We didn't know how but we knew God had called us.

The fees and paperwork are so great and very overwhelming when looking at it in the beginning. We started with one agency in January. When we started we knew we wanted to adopt a waiting child. In June of 2006 we saw a picture of Mia-Grace for the first time and fell in love, but there was a problem she wasn't with our agency. After speaking to both agencies we realized that we couldn't afford to lose the $7000 already invested in our first agency and our first agency said they were unable to refund the money. I was heartbroken.
I continued to watch Mia on the Rainbow Kids listing praying that her family would find her soon. Then after a month of praying, we contacted our agency about a little boy who was waiting in Korea for a family. They began all the paperwork and our family began to fall in love with this precious baby boy. We named him and began preparing for his arrival. Then God moved in some very unexpected and painful way and we were unable to adopt this sweet baby boy. We were devastated. Along with this information we were refunded every cent that we had paid into our first agency, I am told this never happens.
After praying and realizing God was telling us to continue in our journey of adoption we called AIAA about Mia. I was sure she was probably not available anymore. Baby girls don't usually stay on the waiting list for very long. But she was still waiting and six weeks after our devastating loss we signed "official" referral papers on our daughter Mia-Grace Jee-In.
We had received all our money back, but we still faced a huge amount of fees and were unsure how we would pay for them. Only six days after we signed papers we received a phone call from Wendy at Shaohannah's Hope and were told that we had been chosen to receive a grant for $3000.00!! Praise God! And less than one month later we learned that we received a grant from A Child Waits Foundation as well! In less than 3 months God had provided $13500.00 for our adoption of Mia-Grace. He worked in "mysterious" and painful ways, but what a wonderful testimony to our family to see God's hand in our adoption experience! The paperwork was another testimony of God's work. Our 1-600 application was approved and received back to us in one week's time, and our beautiful baby girl came home nine weeks after we received her referral. We had been praying since January that God would have our new baby home for Christmas, and we are so looking forward to Christmas next week with our newest little miracle!
Thank you very much for assisting us financially with our adoption. God is working
through you to bring families together.
God bless you!
