We did it!!
They are home. All 3 children, who arrived at the orphanage years ago after living in the streets of China, begging to eat, surviving day by day, then taken to an orphanage where they were not reported to be siblings.
When we were led by God to adopt Chloe, our 13 year old daughter, we had no clue what God was really sending us. A 3 for one special! A huge blessing. Because on the day I met Chloe is the day I learned from a translated police report that she was left with 2 other children and when I asked "who are these other children?" No one answered till our new daughter was asked and she said "my brothers." I was floored. A million thoughts ran through my mind. Mainly how and why did this happen?
As we gained more information about the brothers, we left China telling our new daughter we WOULD be back. She did not believe us at the time. She had no reason to trust any adults at that point. And then as the months went by and she saw paperwork that was in Chinese and English she was able to see we were, indeed, doing all that we could to get both of her brothers’ home.
Fourteen long months, numerous papers for approvals, and with no funds to be adopting again so soon, A Child Waits Foundation was a true blessing to help us with the final amount needed to bring our sons home. We couldn't leave these boys; they would be released to the streets to fend for themselves again in just a few short months. But instead they are home today, with their sister, all smiles, incredibly loving and loved, by all of us.
We even got a surprise with their adoption, the bigger brother was able to confirm what we had been wondering, if the 2 younger siblings were twins. And they are. Chloe and Chance are fraternal twins. They have such a bond that after only 2 weeks together and you would never know they spent 14 months apart. It's rare to see one without the other. And big brother, Chase, their protector and mentor, is clearly enjoying having parents, as well as 4 bigger brothers to take over the "biggest brother" role for him and allow him to be the child he should be.

They are the perfect fit within our large family, and we are so thankful that everything worked out to get these guys home. Every child, no matter of age, needs a family, and our new sons, as well as daughter, are proof of the joy older children give and that they deserve the love of a family as much as any child. We are honored to be their parents.
We thank A Child Waits Foundation, for the grant that gave these children each other again, to be the siblings they are forever more, loved, cherished by our whole family.
Again, thank you!
