Domestic and International Adoption

Since our inception A Child Waits Foundation has helped 2,794 families bring home 3,484 children.  The children were adopted from 71 different countries and now live all over the United States, in Canada and in other parts of the world.  The following charts and graphs represent a statistical picture of these children.  To read some of their stories, visit our "Family Story"​ pages, to learn the details behind the numbers.  The statistics were updated on February 25, 2026.
