Domestic Adoption
In 2025 we awarded grants to help 135 children to be adopted from 17 different countries and 28 states in the USA. Some of their wonderful pictures and adoption experiences are recounted below in the family's own words.

Cameron - Arizona
Thank you so much for the generous grant award from A Child Waits Foundation. After years of trying, suffering two miscarriages, and then infertility treatments, we felt called to adoption.
Through friends we found a local adoption agency and things moved quickly from there! Cameron was born on April 30th and joined our family through the miracle of adoption. We were able to spend time with him immediately, in the NICU, and then discharged home after 5 days.
Cameron is thriving and growing! He loves to smile, chat, roll, and explore. Thank you for making this possible for our family!
Eleanor - Ohio
As our sweet Eleanor is now 9 months old and our adoption is finalized, we wanted to send you all an update! We finalized our adoption on June 24th and have been surprised by how quickly time is moving. Eleanor has been the most perfect addition to our family and is now crawling, walking with a walker, babbling, and saying “hi, mama, and dada” appropriately. She has such a fun, social personality and is possibly the happiest baby we’ve ever met. Eleanor is so deeply loved by us and the community of people we have been blessed with. We have kept in touch with her birth family and plan to get together in person with them in October. This has been the greatest, most rewarding experience for us and we could not have done it without A Child Wait Foundations’s support. We will forever be grateful to you all!
Adrian - Oklahoma
Thank you is not enough to tell you what you have done for our family! When we heard that we had received a grant, it filled us with hope and courage to continue waiting for the plan that God had for us. It helped confirm that we were on the right path and doing His will. When we got the phone call that we were chosen, it helped us to not worry about the finances but to just focus on what was ahead. And when our sweet little boy was born, we were able to simply enjoy being present with him and his sweet birth mother. We didn't have to stress that a large payment needed to be made. We knew that the Lord had it all under control. Now, we are in awe at our family that the Lord has put together. A Child Waits Foundation has been there for us and quite literally made our family possible when we didn't know if there was a way. We got to finalize Adrian’s adoption on December 19, 2025. Thank you for being a tangible manifestation of what the Lord was doing in our lives. Thank you for giving.
